1. Purpose and publisher
These terms and conditions govern the use of g4melab.fr, the G4melab Wardogs game server, the G4 Studio software and the G4melab shop. These services are provided by the TURBO MEDIA association (French 1901-law association, RNA W912013454, SIREN 844 433 474, 11 avenue de la Forêt, 91800 Brunoy, France), hereinafter “G4melab” or “the association”. They supplement the legal notice and the privacy policy.
2. Acceptance
Using the site, linking a Steam account, installing G4 Studio or placing an order means you accept the terms in force on that day.
3. Access to the site
The site is free and can be browsed without an account. The association may suspend all or part of the site for maintenance or updates.
4. Steam and Discord linking
Some features (server priority, opening sign-ups, player profile, G4 Studio) require signing in with Steam. G4melab only receives your public Steam identifier, never your password. Discord linking is optional. You may only link your own accounts and can ask for them to be unlinked at any time.
5. Wardogs server
Access to the server is free and is not sold. Openings are announced on the schedule. Temporary priority may be offered to players who help start a match, under the rules shown on the Wardogs page. This priority is a community gesture, not a vested right: it may be changed or withdrawn, in particular if the server rules are broken. A former “slots” subscription that has already been paid remains valid until the end of the period paid for.
On the server, cheating, exploiting bugs, harassment and hate speech are forbidden. Admins may kick or ban a player who breaks these rules.
6. G4 Studio software
G4 Studio is Windows software that records clips, tracks the current game and, for partner streamers, manages the stream and the G4melab ad network. It links to your Steam account and updates automatically when closed. You remain responsible for the clips you upload and the content you broadcast: they must respect third-party rights and the rules of the games and platforms (Twitch, YouTube).
By uploading a clip, you allow G4melab to show it on your player profile and on the site’s pages, free of charge, for as long as the clip is not deleted. For partner streamers, the broadcast consent given in G4 Studio allows the live to be relayed on the G4melab ad network; it can be withdrawn from the app.
The software is provided “as is”. The association does its best to keep it working, without guaranteeing that it is bug-free or compatible with every game or anti-cheat.
7. Live chat and user content
In the live chat and in the content you send (profile, clips, forms), the following are forbidden: unlawful, insulting or hateful remarks, harassment, spam, advertising, impersonation. The team may delete a message or content and block its author. To report content: contact@g4melab.fr.
An application gives no right to join G4melab: the collective reviews requests freely.
8. Shop: terms of sale
Seller. The TURBO MEDIA association (details in section 1). Prices are shown in euros; VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French Tax Code. Shipping costs for items are shown before payment.
Payment. By card via Stripe. The association never has access to card data. The order is confirmed by email once payment is accepted.
G4 Studio Premium. Subscription with no commitment, renewed automatically every month or every year depending on the plan chosen. It can be cancelled at any time from G4 Studio (Stripe billing portal); access remains open until the end of the period paid for.
Items. Shipped within 15 days to the address entered at payment, in the countries offered.
Digital services. By subscribing, you ask for the service to start straight away.
Withdrawal, returns and refunds
You have 14 days to withdraw, without giving a reason, by writing to contact@g4melab.fr (please include your order number).
- Items: the period starts on receipt. The item must be returned new, in its original condition, at your expense, within 14 days of your request.
- Digital services (G4 Studio Premium): the period starts on subscription; the amount corresponding to the service already provided may be withheld.
- Refund: within 14 days of your request, using the same payment method. For an item, it may be delayed until the return is received.
Donations. Donations are voluntary and final. As the association is not recognised as being of public utility, they do not give rise to a tax receipt.
Warranties. Items benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
Complaints and disputes. For any complaint, write to contact@g4melab.fr: we first look for an amicable solution. Failing that, you may refer the matter to the competent court. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre France can help you free of charge.
9. Minors
The services are open from age 15. Under 15, a parent’s consent is required to link an account, send a form or place an order. A purchase by a minor is made under the responsibility of their legal guardian.
10. Intellectual property
The texts, logo, visual identity, G4 Studio software and original content belong to the TURBO MEDIA association or to their authors. Any reproduction or use without permission, as well as decompiling G4 Studio outside the cases allowed by law, is prohibited. The trademarks and games mentioned belong to their owners; their presence implies no official affiliation.
11. Third-party services
The site and G4 Studio rely on Steam, Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Stripe and Google. These services have their own terms; the association is not responsible for their availability or their processing.
12. Personal data and cookies
See the privacy policy and the cookie policy. You can change your choices at any time with the “Cookies” link in the footer.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the association is not liable for damage caused by outdated information, an interruption of the site, the server or G4 Studio, or a third-party service. This limit does not apply in the event of gross negligence or to the rights that the law guarantees to consumers.
14. Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the update date is shown at the top of the page. Orders remain governed by the version in force on the day of purchase. French law applies. Contact: contact@g4melab.fr or the Contact page.
