French Wardogs server: how to join

Looking for a French Wardogs server where people play the zone, talk on voice and nobody blames you for missing a shot? That’s exactly what the G4melab community server offers: hosted in West-EU for clean ping from France, Belgium or Switzerland, open to everyone, solo or as a full squad.

Join the server in 3 steps

Wardogs lets you join a community server directly by its ID. Since patch 0.11, every community server has a unique, permanent ID that no longer changes with each map or restart. The G4melab server ID is shown on the Wardogs page, with a button to copy it.

  1. Launch Wardogs and click Deploy.
  2. Choose Community, then Join by ID.
  3. Paste the ID and hit Lookup: the server appears, and you join.

You can also search for it by name in the community server list, which has a text search: “[FR] G4melab.fr | Chill | 100% FR | discord.gg/waYmJgtCsV”. Keep the ID handy for later sessions. If the server is full, the game shows your place in the queue after you click Join.

Why play on this server

Wardogs is played with up to 100 players, in three factions, around a zone to hold. On a map this big, the difference between a messy match and a real battle is coordination. On a community server, you meet the same faces from one session to the next, teams talk to each other and objectives are actually played.

  • 100% French-speaking, chill vibe: no need to tryhard, we’re here to play together.
  • Voice on Discord (discord.gg/waYmJgtCsV): you can come alone, we’ll find you teammates.
  • Organised sessions every week, shown on the Wardogs schedule.
  • Your progression counts: cash and XP earned on a community server carry over to your account, just like on an official server.

What the G4 server adds

The server is connected to the website. Kills show up in a live kill feed, displayed on the Wardogs page and during G4melab streams. If you use G4 Studio, the team’s free app, your kills on the server are clipped automatically and sent to your player profile, and the F9 key triggers a clip on demand. Community profiles are visible on the G4 players page: level, roles played, hours, achievements and clips.

When the server is open

The server only starts with 20 players. There’s no fixed schedule: openings are announced on the schedule and on Discord. If you want to play, the best way is to come and help open it. In-game bonus: since Season 2, those who fill an empty server also get rewards and a vendor discount at the start of the match.

Server full: the 3-day priority

A popular server ends up full at peak times. To thank those who come to open it, G4melab gives them 3 days of priority:

  • it’s renewed with every opening you take part in;
  • it’s free: no subscription, no shop;
  • no site account to create: just link your Steam on the Wardogs page so the server recognises you.

If it doesn’t work

  • The server doesn’t show up: check that you’re in the Community tab and that the ID is complete (it’s long, that’s normal).
  • You get kicked for ping: Season 2 ping limits apply to official servers, and community server admins can set their own. Check your connection and close anything using bandwidth.
  • The game won’t connect at all: see our Wardogs server status page.
